Thanks , Tim. We'll put a boom and a dolly in the budget after we get our studio conversion. This was shot as b-roll for another project. Stayed with whole piece just to have audio and some decent video. Shot as if this was the only camera, slow easy moves (often not very smooth). Wanted to show hands, some facial expression, and to show that this was a video conference...just keep camera moves slow and deliberate.
Sound was a combination of two channels: Channel one - camera mic, set manually at 70%; Channel two - wireless lapel mic (mounted on back of piano) set manually at 30%.. This is a video conference room, basically a classroom, not a studio, and the VC cameras are mounted high-center on opposite walls. I placed our camera to capture both hands and face; also needed to see monitors. White balanced for room fluorescent lighting (nat light).

Nice job Steve! Excellent work. Too bad you didn't have a camera on a boom huh? Can you discuss a little about how this was shot? How did you do audio? What was the room set up?
