I have used Qik a couple of times just for fun and its capacity to send video live from a mobile is a great tool. It also records and archives your broadcasts. You will ideally need an unlimited data plan.
I have seen many efforts at broadcasting using uStream and most of them have been spoiled by poor audio and poor lighting. I think many try to add to their presentations by using this tool, but I feel they may be reducing the impact if the broadcast is not at least YouTube quality.
